Turmeric and Eringi Mushroom Spaghetti

Turmeric is one of the keys to medicinal cooking. It helps boost neurotransmitters in the brain.
Clams are rich in taurine and vitamin B12 to help reduce blood cholesterol levels. They have an enhanced antidotal effect, and they help stimulate the brain. Eringi mushrooms contain soluble fiber to help reduce cholesterol level and prevent cancer.

Ingredients

  • 2 clove of Garlic
  • 100g (3.53 oz / 0.22 lb.) Trumpet Mushroom (Eringi)
  • 1/4 Red Bell Peppers
  • 1/4 Yellow Bell Peppers
  • 1 Red Chili Pepper
  • 250g (8.82 oz / 0.55 lb.) Pasta
  • 2 tbsp Vigin Olive Oil
  • 3 tbsp Clam (Asari)
  • 2 tsp Turmeric
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Some Italian Parsley

Directions

  • Mince the garlic
  • Trim off the hard tips and shred lengthways by hand
  • Slice the bell peppers lengthwise
  • Remove the seeds from the red chili peppers and cut them into thin circles with scissors
  • Cook up the pasta
  • In a frying pan, heat some virgin olive oil, add the garlic and slowly stir fry at low heat
  • Add mushrooms and bell peppers, and stir fry
  • When the vegetables are cooked, add the pasta
  • Add the boiled asari clams and red chili pepper slices, and stir fry
  • Add 2 tsp of turmeric and stir fry to thoroughly distribute the flavor
  • Season with salt and pepper, and stir fry
  • Serve. Sprinkle with Italian parsley or other herbs is good idea
