Rice Salad with Colorful Vegetables

A colorful way to lower blood sugar levels.
Green and yellow vegetables contain vitamins, minerals, fiber, and phosphorus to help slow the absorption of sugars into the bloodstream. The combination of green and yellow vegetables with brown rice helps to activate intestinal functions, clean the blood, and make supports detoxification in the body.


  • 230g (8.11 oz / 0.50 lb.) Brown Rice
  • 4 Cherry Tomatoes
  • 1 Cucumber
  • 60g (2.12 oz / 0.13 lb.) Red Bell Pepper (Paprika)
  • 60g (2.12 oz / 0.13 lb.) Yellow Bell Pepper (Paprika)
  • 80g (2.82 oz / 0.18 lb.) Mix Beans
  • Some Broccoli Sprout
  • 60g (2.12 oz / 0.13 lb.) Baby Leafs
    For Dressing
  • 2 tbsp Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Wasabi
  • 1 tbsp White Wine Vinegar


  • Cook up the brown rice
  • [Make dressing] In a bowl, combine 2 tbsp of virgin olive oil, 1tbsp of soy sauce, 1 tsp of wasabi, and 1 tbsp of white wine vinegar, and thoroughly mix with whisk
  • Remove the stem and leafs from cherry tomatoes for the salad, and cut into wedges
  • Slice cucumber, and slice bell peppers into lengthwise
  • Mix the ingredients in a bowl; the cherry tomatoes, cucumber, bell peppers, brown rice, mixed beans, broccoli sprouts, and baby leafs
  • Pour on the dressing , and serve
